SLCC on the Road

Swan Lake On the Road (OTR) is a week long program designed to bring the experience of our summer camp to your community.

Swan Lake staff come equipped to serve youth in your congregation and community. Our OTR program is designed for children completing grades K-6. The daily program includes worship, music, Bible Study, devotions, crafts, recreation, and services. Because Swan Lake Christian Camp is an outdoor camping ministry, activities happen outdoors as much as possible.

Swan Lake provides all craft supplies, recreation equipment and ideas, bible study, music, staff, safety (each staff is trained in First Aid and CPR), energy, excitement, and fun. A Thursday night program will be presented for family and guests. Your community is simply asked to provide volunteers to help with the program and food and housing for the visiting staff.

Why choose Swan Lake Christian Camp?

Our On the Road program offers the best of the best. We partner with you to ensure that your experience is exactly what you want it to be and on your schedule. Whether that be 9-3 Mon-Thurs, 8-12 Mon-Thurs, or 6-8 Sun-Thurs. It’s up to YOU!

Local Responsibilities for On The Road (OTR) Day Camp

The Swan Lake staff is primarily responsible for planning and implementing the On The Road Day Camp program. The congregation is responsible for the arrangements of the camp.

It is the responsibility of your congregation/community to:

  • Secure a local coordinator to work with the SLCC staff. The coordinator will work with the church and community to provide resources and arrange living areas for the SLCC staff. The local coordinator will also work with the volunteers that are helping with the Camp. It is necessary for this local coordinator to be available throughout the week during the OTR Day Camp session.
